Management Information:

We provide a wide range of information for clients to enable them to manage their operations more effectively.  The rapidly changing nature of the industry generates demands for different types of surveys and reports to enable managers to plan and maximise the use of their resources.  Our services in this area include:

• Manning studies on all vessel types including tanker sector, dry cargo, offshore supply/support vessels, FPSOs, etc:

Management Development:

We work with clients to develop the performance of their managers and management systems.  The rate of change within the industry has highlighted the need to recruit, retain and develop managers and leaders at all levels.  Management skills are increasingly seen as vital to safely and effectively operate ships and are frequently identified as a fundamental need when people move from sea to shore based roles.  Our services in this area include:

• Management training for sea and shore staff
• Working with Management Teams  using the PAL Team Review process
• Management and Organisational reviews to provide an independent, external assessment and recommendations.
• Personal Skills Development in subjects including:

- Team Leadership
- Time management and Planning
- Negotiation skills

PAL has developed a wide range of courses to meet client requirements and have delivered training in UK, India, Philippines and Singapore.  The Management Programmes include courses accredited by The Nautical Institute, which provides recognition from a professional body within the industry.
